1984,?Bluestar was founded.
1987,?Bluestar undertook the cleaning project of Shanxi Fertilizer Plant that the German team failed to complete. It also took over the pre-commissioning cleaning business for large-scale complete sets of equipment?imported from abroad, covering petrochemical, non-ferrous metallurgy, electric power and other fields.
1996,?Bluestar moved its headquarters to Beijing. Its first listed company,"Bluestar Cleaning", was successfully?listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. In the same year, starting with Xinghuo Factory, Bluestar?successively merged and restructured ten state-owned chemical enterprises.
2004,?Bluestar and Haohua jointly established China National Chemical Corporation (ChemChina).
2006,?Bluestar acquired the French company Adisseo, entering the international market and transitioning towards?globalization.
2007,?Bluestar acquired the organosilicon and sulfide business of Rhodia (France), improving its global silicon?industrial chain.
2011,?Bluestar acquired Elkem (Norway), further enhancing its global competitiveness.
2015,?Adisseo was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
2018,?Elkem integrated Bluestar's silicon industrial chain and was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (Norway).
2019,?Bluestar Elkem acquired Basel Chemical (South Korea) and Guangdong Polymer.
2021,?Sinochem Group and ChemChina merged, and Bluestar became part of Sinochem Holdings. In the same?year, Bluestar Elkem acquired a French functional organosilicon factory.
2022,?Bluestar supported the integration of Sinochem and ChemChina, and further focused on its core?businesses.
2026,?Bluestar acquired the core silicones business assets of Elkem.
